Luke M. Caselman is an exceptional legal researcher and judicial writer. Before joining Gaslowitz Frankel, Mr. Caselman served as a public defender with the Glynn County Circuit where he researched, prepared, and argued dozens of substantive pre-trial motions and evidentiary hearings. During his career, he has handled all aspects of criminal trials: working with expert witnesses, conducting voir dire, directing and cross-examining witnesses, and arguing openings and closings. Mr. Caslman also served the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia – first as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles H. Weigle, United States Magistrate Judge, and then as a Staff Attorney for three United States Magistrate Judges and seven Article III Judges.

Mr. Caselman holds his JD from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he graduated near the top of his class, served on and was published in, the Mercer Law Review, made the Dean’s List, and earned a Certificate in Advanced Legal Research, Writing, and Drafting. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri, where he majored in both Philosophy and Political Science.
