It’s hard to believe that Gaslowitz Frankel is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
I founded the firm as Gaslowitz & Associates in 1989. Since that time, the firm has grown into the largest boutique practice in Georgia focusing exclusively on representing individuals, executors, trustees, investors, shareholders, and financial institutions in complex fiduciary disputes involving wills, estates, trusts, guardianships, businesses, and securities.
To date, the firm has handled over 4000 fiduciary disputes. In 2005, Craig Frankel merged his practice into mine, and the firm has been known since then as Gaslowitz Frankel LLC. Tegether, we continue to focus our efforts on all aspects of fiduciary litigation and dispute resolution.
To mark the firm’s 25th anniversary, the team at Gaslowitz Franel has decided to give back to the community that has been instrumental in our growth. Our attorneys and staff will choose 25 charities to be the beneficiaries of $500 contributions throughout 2014 calendar year.
The Charitable Giving Concept
Each month, two Gaslowitz Frankel employees will have an opportunity to choose an organization that he or she feels deserves to be a donation recipient. The firm will make the donation to the employee’s designated charity in honor of that employee, encouraging the employee to deliver the check personally.
Once each employee has had a chance to designate their preferred non-profit organization, teams of staff members will choose the remaining donations. The 25th and final donation will be chosen by the firm as a whole.
As individuals and teams choose their charity, the Gaslowitz Frankel team will have the opportunity to share why they chose the charity and explain the importance of the organization for the community.
Each Gaslowitz Frankel staff member will adhere to the following restrictions: no political contributions, no college football teams, and no organizations that disturb the community.
Continued Charitable Giving
As 2014 calendar the year comes to a close, Gaslowitz Frankel hopes to encourage its employees to continue with their charitable giving by creating a matching gift fund. Additionally, we will collect all of our memories about our charitable giving journey in one place – a special Pinterest board.
