Craig Frankel, a founding partner of Gaslowitz Frankel LLC, has been appointed to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors. Mr. Frankel will be serving alongside executives at some of Atlanta’s biggest corporations, including Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola.
Mr. Frankel is an accomplished violinist. He has played with the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra for over thirty years and is currently the Assistant Concertmaster. When Mr. Frankel was in high school, he played violin with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, which is sponsored by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Frankel is no stranger to serving his community. He recently completed his term as Board Chair of the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum. Mr. Frankel serves on the Advisory Board of Hillside Hospital, a residential and outpatient facility for emotionally disturbed adolescents and their families. He previously served on Hillside’s board for 18 years and as its Board Chair for three years. Mr. Frankel and his family are active members of Temple Sinai, where he has served as an officer and board member for many years. He has served on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, and he has been active from the start with Hands On Atlanta and the Black-Jewish Coalition of the American Jewish Committee.
